James Willie Poole, Officiant

I am happily married with three sons and grew up right here in Wilmington, NC.

Years ago, good friends approached me about performing their wedding ceremony.  Honored to be asked, I became an ordained minster through the state of North Carolina so that I could do their wedding.  Through word of mouth and often through contact with guests of other weddings I've performed, I've done many ceremonies since and have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of every last one of them.

I believe one's faith is a personal and intimate thing. I have great respect for the diverse traditions and beliefs of the couples that I've had the privilege to unite in marriage. Sacred or secular, with belief or without, I am more than happy to incorporate any of the things that are important to you on your wedding day.

Enough about me, this is about YOU!  I truly believe there's no time more important to express the truth in your heart than on the day of your wedding.  Tell me your story and let's create a ceremony that you and your wedding guests will treasure.

A successful marriage requires falling in love, many times, always with the same person
